The Kidling likes to make up words. Pretty good ones, if you ask me. For example:
Com-par-i-ment: The act of assessing two things side by side to determine significant similarities and/or differences. Comparison + Experiment.
Clerk-u-ler: The worker who one pays when finishing one’s shopping. Clerk + Customer.
Well-ly: To do something with a high degree of quality. Because even a toddler knows that adverbs end in -ly.
Pred-at: A creature that is hunted for food. See also, prey.
I think the folks at Oxford might need her for the next edition…
