i had-ed to write this one down…

You know it has been a good week when the book of alice offers you, dear reader, a third consecutive mid-day post…

This morning, Alice said to me, “I’m glad you told me I haded to do that, because that’s what I was wanting to do!”

Glad to be of assistance, munchkin. And I am glad that you gave me another entry for The Dictionary:

Had-ed: auxiliary verb. To require (past tense). Ex. I haded to eat my dinner. Syn. had. Because everyone knows you add an -ed to make a verb past tense.

  1. I’m not sure I could stand having someone that cute and adorable in my presence every day. How do you maintain a bone of cynicism with all that adorableness constantly around you? Does your face ache from smiling all the time?

    • Ha! Yes, sometimes. Other times, not so much. I only post the funny, clever, brilliant, witty, perfect, insightful things she says. I don’t think anyone is interested in hearing about what a crab she is capable of being. Thank goodness she is usually an extremely nice munchkin.

whaddaya have to say for yourself?
