rhyme time

Kids like to rhyme. Alice is no exception. She also likes to add “Mc” in front of random rhyming combos (i.e. Silly McBilly), which I encourage. A kid’s life should be joyful and silly, no?

Imagine, then, my surprise when Alice was telling me about an uncomfortable sensation in her ear. Pain? Nope. Tickle? Huh uh.

Itchy McBitchy.

I should have remembered from my teaching days the danger of rhyming games. One day I stopped The Name Game juuuuuust before getting to a student named Lucket.
